  • License & Hardware Data: We collect your license key, machine ID, and hardware fingerprint for the purpose of license validation and anti-piracy protection. This data is used solely to verify that your license is being used in accordance with our terms.
  • Usage Analytics: We collect anonymized usage statistics including verification counts, feature usage, error reports, and performance metrics. This data is aggregated and cannot be used to identify you personally.
  • Device Information: Operating system version, application version, and system locale for compatibility and support purposes.

2.3 Information We Do NOT Collect

We do not collect, store, or transmit the email addresses you verify. All email verification is performed locally on your machine.

4.3 Data Retention

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you the Service. Anonymized usage data may be retained indefinitely for analytics purposes. Upon account deletion, personal data is removed within 30 days.

5. Local Processing

A core design principle of Leads Sentry is local-first processing. This means:

  • All email verification is performed on your local machine. Email addresses are never transmitted to our servers for verification.
  • DNS lookups and SMTP connections are made directly from your machine to the target mail servers.
  • Verification results, reports, and exported files remain on your local device.
  • The desktop application can function in offline mode for previously downloaded datasets.

The only data transmitted to our servers is license validation information and anonymized usage analytics (which can be disabled in settings).

6. Third-Party Services

We may use the following third-party services:

  • Payment Processing: To securely process license purchases. These processors handle your payment card data in compliance with PCI-DSS standards.
  • Infrastructure Providers: Cloud hosting services for our license validation API and website.
  • Analytics: Anonymized analytics tools to understand usage patterns and improve our product.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their own marketing purposes. Third-party service providers are bound by data protection agreements and are only permitted to process data as necessary to deliver their services to us.
